BIOGRAPHY
Gloria Bakang Manale is a committed and enthusiastic professional nurse, specializing in Midwifery and Neonatal care. Her dedication to women's health, particularly for expectant mothers and their newborns, was ignited in 2004 during her nursing training. From her very first day in the labor ward, Gloria knew she had discovered her calling and has since pursued it relentlessly. In addition to her clinical work, Gloria is an avid educator in the field of nursing and an entrepreneur.
Gloria Manale began her nursing career between 2003 and 2007, earning a Diploma in Nursing Science with a focus on General, Community, Psychiatry, and Midwifery from Ann Latsky Nursing College. She went on to specialize in Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science in 2018 at Ga-Rankuwa Nursing College, enhancing her expertise and dedication to women's health, as well as maternal and neonatal care. In 2023, she completed her BCur degree in Nursing Management and Nursing Education at the University of Pretoria, furthering her passion for educating colleagues in the maternal and neonatal disciplines.
In today's world, it's crucial to have a health provider with a background in mental health, and Gloria is well-equipped in this area. She began her career at Sterkfontein Psychiatric Hospital in 2008 as a community service health professional. Pursuing her dream, she joined Netcare Ferncrest in 2010, working in the maternity unit, which not only confirmed her passion but also provided her with extensive experience in customer service while attending to private clients. This led to an interest in private practice. Eager to learn and explore new areas, Gloria became a wellness coordinator for Dwaarsrivier and Two Rivers mines with Life Healthcare from 2011 to 2013, broadening her expertise in general well-being, customer care, and diversity. The call of maternal health was strong, and she returned to it, working as a Midwife at Lydenburg Hospital from mid-2013 to 2019, then at Mashishing Clinic until 2023. In August 2023, she combined all her skills and opened her own clinic focusing on mother, child, and reproductive health.
